Hello friends! Late little newsletter from my world, but I had a teeny bit of rambling to do! Just some thoughts that have taken hold of me for a little while now.

Hope

‘Hope’ is a funny, complicated word. We all hope to be witnessed, to be seen, especially in the author industry. Everyone hopes to make friends, that their books will do well in the current climates, that they'll be able to tell their stories exactly the way they want to.

Of course, I want all of this too, but what I want (hope for) most? To be known as kind.

In a world that seems dark and hateful against certain communities, I want my community to be sweet, no matter the size it is. I can only hope that I am seen as kind, that the way I respond & react to the things around me are more kind than some might deserve. I hope (there it is again, that word) that the people I choose to support and share my time with see me this way, and feel the same about their community.

I still have a lot of hope for TSIOC, despite it starting off slow and steady. I have a lot of hope that it will reach its audience, and that you (the current audience) have enjoyed it thus far!

All that to say, I hope you all try to be kind in your own ways, especially now while the world is so chaotic. I hope you show love for your fellow humans, despite everything going on around us.

And, I hope the world is kinder to you, too.
